ニューシネマパラダイス(1988)
イタリアのとある田舎。唯一の娯楽施設である映画館を中心に、愛や友情について主人公トトの人生を描いた物語。「普遍の愛」が詰まった名作です。
これを見た後、別府に帰りたくなり、気づいたらチケット購入してました。笑
杉原千畝（2015）
第二次世界大戦下にナチスやロシアの迫害により居場所を失ったユダヤ人を救うため日本政府の許可無しに独断でビザを発行し続けた外交官の話。日本ではあまり知られていないがその功績は世界で高く賞賛されています。現在ロシアによるウクライナ侵攻で同じような状況が世界で起きているため、世界に立ち向かった日本人がいたということを知るために見てください！
Matrix(1999~)
シンプルにカッコいいSFで、現在の私が持っているコンピューターへのあこがれの原点。
昔は只々特徴的なアクションシーンが印象的な映画だったけれど、世の中の事を知れば知るほど、現実世界をメタ認知して「これってこういうメッセージだったのか」と考えさせられる映画だと思います。
ファイトクラブ（1999）
何度見てもよくわからないSFだけど、終始、ブラッドピッドの輝かしい映画。
でも何度も見たくなる。映画界のラーメン二郎です。
ミッションインポッシブルシリーズ（1996~）
これも只々トム・クルーズがかっこいい映画。終始、観ているだけでアドレナリンが止まりません。スタントアクションのほとんどはご自身でされているそうですが、オールマイティーな彼には出来ない事がないんでしょうか。
ドニー・ダーコ(2001)
突如目の前に現れた銀色のウサギに世界の終わりを告げられるところから始まる。なんと残りは「あと28日6時間42分12秒」帰宅してみるとそこには、ジェット機のエンジンが落下していてドニーの部屋を直撃していたり。とにかくハラハラする映画！刺激が欲しい人にお勧めの一本です。
グレイテストショーマン（2017）
APUでの多様性を描いてくれたような映画。Unique（人と異なる）であるという事に自信を持てるというか、飛び出したいとき、自分の背中を押してほしいなと思うときに見てみてください。
ドライブマイカー(2021)
村上春樹の小説が原作。愛する妻を病気で急に無くした主人公の舞台俳優で演出家の男が、演劇際に参加する為に向かった広島で謎の専属ドライバーに出会って繰り広がる物語です。
悲劇の傷を抱える主人公が映画の中で出会う人々の感情とストーリーを受け入れる過程で自分の悲劇を受けとめていくストーリーでした。おすすめです！
COVID project 3nd; The MOVIE THEATER
Continuing from the last time, we had time to share Movie recommendation for the 3rd time. several new faces had joined and Ms. Olga came to visit us from Latin chapters.

New Cinema Paradise (1988)
It is Story about full of everlasting love and friendship, centered on the movie theater in small village of Italy. It made me feel of going back Beppu.
Chiune Sugihara(2015)
The story of Japanese diplomat during World War II. He continued to issue visas at his own discretion without the permission of the Japanese government to save Jews who lost their place due to the persecution of the Nazis and Russia. Although not well known in Japan, his achievements are highly praised in the world. It would show us how can we face with Russia's invasion of Ukraine now.
Matrix (1999~)
Simply and cool science fiction, and it's one of the reason to decide my career as an engineer.
When I was kid, it was just movie with an impressive action scene, but the more you know about the world, the more you know about the real meaning.
Mission Impossible Series (1996~)
This movie tells about how Tom Cruise is cool in last 20 years.
Adrenaline doesn't stop while watching it from beginning to end.
According to some movie article, most of the stunt actions were done by him. Isn’t it insane??
Donnie Darko(2001)
The silver rabbit tells you about world end in 28 days 6 hours 42 minutes 12 seconds.
What would you survive in such a chaotic situation??
Greatest Showman (2017)
A movie that depicts the diversity of APU. You can be confident that you are unique.
I recommend it when you want to jump out and push your back to new stage.
Drive My Car (2021)
It is based on Haruki Murakami's novel.
Story about a man who is a stage actor and director who suddenly lost his beloved wife due to illness, meets a mysterious exclusive driver in Hiroshima, where he headed to participate in a play. I like the emotional process of accepting the new feelings and stories of the people he meets gradually
